Pharmacological properties
Amoxicillin belongs to aminopenicillin antibiotics with a broad spectrum of action. Amoxicillin is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria: Actinomyces spp., Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Actinobacillus spp., Escherihia coli, Fusobacterium spp., Haemophilus spp. , Moraxella spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp. and against Leptospira spp.
Application
Treatment of cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats with diseases of the digestive tract and respiratory organs and urogenital, skin and soft tissue caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.
Dosage
Shake the vial thoroughly before use!
Intramuscularly or subcutaneously once at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
If there is no improvement within 48 hours, treatment should be changed.
Contraindications
Do not use in horses, cows, guinea pigs, hamsters and animals with hypersensitivity to amoxicillin.
Precautions
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 14 days after the last use of the drug. The consumption of milk intended for human consumption is allowed 48 hours (4 milkings) after the last administration of the drug. Meat and milk obtained before this period should be disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the opinion of your veterinarian.
