Ciprofloxacin + Colistin
🚑 The drug is used to treat dogs and cats with acute and chronic bacterial infections, the causative agents of which are sensitive to ciprofloxacin and colistin (such as colibacillosis, salmonellosis, streptococci, pasteurellosis, necrotizing enteritis, arthritis, as well as diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs, biliary tract, urogenital system, skin and soft tissues, eyes and ears, bones and joints); and secondary bacterial infections against the background of viral diseases.
DOSAGE:
Before using the drug from the powder, a solution is prepared, for which:
🔹 shake the bottle thoroughly so that the powder separates from the walls and bottom;
🔹 open the cap and pour drinking water at room temperature into the bottle to the beginning of the bottle neck (100 ml);
🔹 close the bottle, shake vigorously and leave for 1 minute until the dissolution process is complete;
🔹 the preparation of the solution is accompanied by the release of carbon dioxide, so further opening of the bottle will be accompanied by hissing.
The required amount of the resulting solution is measured using a dosing syringe.

✅ The resulting solution is administered orally to dogs and cats in doses:
1 ml per 1 kg of the animal's body weight once a day. The course of treatment is 5-7 days.
Shake the bottle vigorously before each subsequent use.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
⚠ It is not recommended to use:
- puppies and kittens before the end of the growth period, due to the risk of damage to cartilage tissue;
- animals with pronounced disorders of the development of cartilage tissue;
- with changes in the nervous system, which are accompanied by convulsions;
- females during pregnancy and lactation.
Do not use with increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.
⚠ Do not use together with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, macrolide antibiotics, tetracycline and chloramphenicol.
COMPOSITION OF THE MEDICINE:
1 bottle contains active substances:
ciprofloxacin (in the form of hydrochloride) - 1000 mg;
colistin sulfate - 10,000,000 IU.
Excipients: ascorbic acid, sodium bicarbonate, sucrose, aerosol, aroma.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
CIPROCOLIN is a complex drug, the therapeutic effect of which is due to the synergistic action of the active ingredients of the drug: ciprofloxacin and colistin sulfate.
Ciprofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones. The mechanism of action of ciprofloxacin is the inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase, which prevents the process of DNA replication, thereby disrupting the integrity of the bacterial cell membrane, which leads to its death. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride rapidly eliminates R plasmids, which prevents the development of microbial resistance to the drug. The drug is active against Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms, especially E.coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Enterobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Serratia spp., Campylobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Yersinia spp., Vibrio spp., Aeromonas spp., Haemophilus spp.; also susceptible to the drug are: Brucella spp., Staphylococcus spp. (including penicillinase-producing strains and methicillin-resistant strains), Mycoplasma spp., Mycobacterium spp., Chlamydia spp.

Colistin sulfate is an antibiotic from the polymyxin group, which is synthesized by aerobic spore-forming Bacillus polymyxa. Colistin sulfate has a bactericidal effect on Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Bordetella spp.).

100 ml polymer bottles in a cardboard box with a dosing syringe.
EXPIRATION DATE, STORAGE CONDITIONS:
A dry, dark place out of reach of children at a temperature of 5° to 25°C.
The shelf life is 3 years.
Shelf life after dilution - 7 days.
