COMPOSITION
1 ml of the drug contains the active substance:
doramectin - 10.0 mg.
Ethylolate, butylhydroxyanizonol, benzoyl alcohol, cottonseed oil.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
ATC vet QP54, endexides (QP54A03, doramectin)
Domictin is a macrocyclic lactone, a semi-synthetic form of avermectin. Doramectin exhibits a large number of systemic nematodocidal, insecticidal and acaricidal action, larvocidal and ovicidal. Modulates the activity of chlorine ions in the nervous system and muscles of nematodes and arthropods. By binding to special receptors, they increase the permeability of synaptic membranes for chlorine ions, which leads to blockade of the activity of nerve and muscle cells of nematodes and arthropods, which leads to paralysis and death of parasites. In mammals, these receptors are localized only in the central nervous system, and doramectin does not pass through the blood-brain barrier and is therefore safe for mammals in recommended doses.
The drug in the recommended doses does not cause mutagenic, teratogenic and embryotoxic interference.
DORAMAX is easily absorbed from the injection site, has high efficiency and does not have a negative effect on the animal's body. Pharmacokinetic properties of doramectin ensure preservation of therapeutic concentrations in the blood of animals and protect against reinvasion for a long time. The prolonged action lasts twice as long as other medicines containing ivermectins.
