🐕 DOXYCYCLIN tablets 🐈 50 mg and 100 mg
🚑 Doxycycline is prescribed to cats and dogs for therapeutic purposes in diseases of the respiratory system (rhinitis, tonsillitis, bronchopneumonia), urogenital system (cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, endometritis), skin (pyoderma, abscesses) and other infections that are sensitive to doxycycline. APPLICATION OF THE MEDICINE:
🟢 Doxycycline is administered to dogs and cats individually orally mixed with food or administered by force at the base of the tongue once a day at a dose of:
🔹 10 mg doxycycline per 1 kg of animal weight:
1 tablet 50 mg = 5 kg of animal weight
1 tablet 100 mg = 10 kg of animal weight
The course of treatment of acute diseases is 3-5 days, in the case of chronic diseases - 8-10 days.
Chlamydia treatment 7-9 days
According to the recommendations of the veterinarian, the dosage and duration of use may be increased.
🍀 Doxycycline belongs to the third-generation semi-synthetic antibiotics from the tetracycline group, active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Actinomyces spp., Clostridium spp., Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothrix spp., Listeria spp. Fusobacterium spp., Pseudomonas spp., Pasteurella spp., Eikenella spp., Enterococcus spp., Enterobacteria spp., Moraxella spp., Brucella spp., Bartonella spp., Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli, Citrobacter, Serratia, Bac Salteroides, as well as MYCOPLASMA, spirochetes, CHLAMYDIA and rickettsiae.
Composition of the drug:
active substance: doxycycline monohydrate;
1 tablet contains:
Doxycycline 50 mg and 100 mg in the form of doxycycline monohydrate;
excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate (type A), talc, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, purified water.

⚠ Contraindication.
- Hypersensitivity to doxycycline or other tetracyclines or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product;
- severe liver function disorders;
- pregnancy or lactation;
