AMEX is a broad-spectrum antibacterial source.
Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin and belongs to the beta-lactam antibiotics. Its mechanism of action is to disrupt the synthesis of the immune cell wall by inhibiting the functional activity of transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase enzymes. The osmotic balance in the device remains disturbed, which causes growth-sensitive death.
Clavulanic acid belongs to the group of beta-lactamase inhibitors. Penetrating into the bacterial cell, it inactivates the enzyme, which ensures the rapid bactericidal effect of amoxicillin against microorganisms sensitive to it.
The drug is active against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including strains. ;in beta-lactamase producers: E. coli, Campylobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Pasteurella spp., Proteus spp., Salmonella spp., Corynebacterium spp. Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Bacteroides spp., Clostridium spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bordetella bronchiseptica. Amoxilin trihydrate and clavulanate after oral administration are quick to enter the market and in the body, reaching high parameters in the muscles, liver and kidneys. Excreted from the body mainly in urine.
