🐕 ANTISTRESS 🐈 🚑 Antistress is prescribed to reduce arousal and correct psychogenic behavioral disorders in cats and dogs during stress, phobias, aggression for no apparent reason and with increased sexual arousal (together with contraceptives), to prevent motion sickness. DOSAGE: ANTISTRES drops are administered orally by cats and dogs at the base of the tongue twice a day in the following doses: 🔹 cats - 1 drop of the drug (4 mg phenibut) per 1 kg of the animal's body weight; 🔹 dogs - 2 drops of the drug (8 mg phenibut) per 1 kg of the animal's body weight. The course of use of the drug is 10-15 days. If signs of severe arousal and psychogenic behavioral disorders appear (aggression, fear, hyperactivity, hypersexual behavior), the course can be extended to 20 days. 🟣 In case of repeated symptoms in animals of signs of agitation and / or behavioral disorders, the course of the drug is repeated in the same doses, according to the same scheme. 🟣 In order to prevent stress (transport, change of scenery, pyrotechnic explosions, owner's departure, participation in exhibitions and competitions), the drug is used 3-5 days before the upcoming event and within 1-4 days after its completion. 🟣 In the prevention of motion sickness, it is used once in the above doses 1-2 hours before the specified start of animal transport. With the appearance of clear symptoms of motion sickness (vomiting), the drug is ineffective. 🟣 To improve behavior during increased sexual activity, anti-stress drops are used in the same doses with contraceptives. The duration of application depends on the individual sensitivity of animals and the degree of their excitement. PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: АТС vet classification code QN06BX – Other psychostimulants and nootropics. QN06BX22 - Phenibut. Phenibut is a phenyl derivative of GABA and phenylethylamine. It has a positive effect on metabolic processes in brain nerve cells. Phenibut has nootropic effects, and as a GABA derivative, it has an anti-anxiety (calming) effect. It does not affect cholinergic and adrenergic receptors. By intensifying the inhibitory GABAergic processes, it affects the functional state by normalizing metabolism and affecting cerebral circulation. It has a pronounced stress-correcting effect and ensures the normalization of excitation and inhibition processes in the central nervous system. The drug is quickly absorbed after oral administration and penetrates well into all body tissues, including the blood-brain barrier. 80-95% of the drug is metabolized in the liver to inactive metabolites. 5% is excreted from the body through the kidneys unchanged. CONTRAINDICATIONS Individual sensitivity to drug components (including history), acute and chronic renal failure, diabetes. ⚠ Do not use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. WARNINGS Shake well before use. When using the drug according to the instructions, no side effects were detected. With increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, symptoms of agitation, drowsiness, irritability, nausea and allergic reactions are possible. In such cases, symptomatic and desensitization therapy is performed. Rarely, when the drug is first administered to animals, drowsiness and nausea may be observed, which disappear spontaneously and do not require treatment.
