Inactivated vaccine against panleukopenia, calicivirus and herpesvirus of cats

Composition 1 ml (1 dose) contains Active components: Virus of infectious panleukopenia of cats, inactivated min. 103.0 TCID50 Calicivirus of cats, inactivated min. 105.5 TCID50 Herpesvirus of cats, inactivated min. 105.0 TCID50 Additional: Thiomersal. Oil solution. Pharmaceutical form: Injection. Immunological properties Pharmacotherapeutic group 97 Veterinary immunopreparations. ATCvet code: QI06AA074 Vaccine of feline rhinotracheitis virus + Vaccine of feline calicivirus + Feline panleukopenia virus.

When administered to animals, the antigens in the vaccine are identified as unknown (foreign) and a number of protective mechanisms in the body are activated (macrophages, opsonins, interleukins, B-lymphocytes, etc.); as a result, specific antibodies are created against the antigens of the determinants contained in the vaccine. These mechanisms should prevent further development of a possible infection. Animals are vaccinated at the age of 8-10 weeks, followed by a single revaccination (Biofel PCGR). Immunity occurs 2-4 weeks after revaccination and lasts for 1 year. Animal species: cats.
Indications for use: For active immunization against panleukopenia, calicivirus and feline herpesvirus. Contraindications: Do not use in febrile diseases. Special precautions for each animal species: Vaccinate only clinically healthy cats with adequate nutrition. Antiparasitic treatment should be carried out 10 days before vaccination.
Special precautions for use: Use the entire contents of the vial.
Special precautions for use in animals: Not established.
Special precautions for persons administering the veterinary product to animals:

Administration: This product contains mineral oil. Accidental injection/self-injection may result in severe pain and swelling, especially if the product is injected into a joint or finger, and in isolated cases may result in the loss of the injured finger if medical attention is not provided.

If you accidentally inject the product, seek medical advice, even if only a very small amount of the product has been injected, take the insert of this product with you. If the pain persists for more than 12 hours after the medical examination, seek medical advice again. To the doctor: This product contains mineral oil. Even if a very small amount of the drug is injected, an accidental injection can cause intense swelling, which can, for example, lead to ischemic necrosis and even loss of a finger. Expert, IMMEDIATELY, surgical assistance is required and, possibly, early incision and irrigation of the injection site, especially where there is retraction of the finger pulp or tendon. Side effects: An adequate local reaction (usually the size of a pea) may occur at the injection site, which disappears within 3 weeks.
Hypersensitivity is observed in exceptional cases. Use during pregnancy and lactation: It is recommended to vaccinate cats only in the first half of pregnancy. Interaction with other agents and other forms of interaction: None known. Dosage and routes of administration: Dose - 1 ml regardless of age, weight and breed, but not earlier than 8 weeks of age. Introduction: subcutaneously, preferably in the area behind the shoulder blade. Animals are vaccinated at the age of 8-10 weeks with subsequent revaccination. Revaccination is carried out 3-4 weeks after the primary vaccination with the Biofel PKGR vaccine. The Biofel PKGR vaccine is administered at the age of 3 months. Immunity occurs 2-4 weeks after revaccination. Further regular revaccinations with the Biofel PKGR vaccine are carried out at 12-month intervals. Overdose A double dose of the vaccine has no side effects for the specified species of animals.
Withdrawal period: Not indicated for lactating animals. Forms of incompatibility: None known. Shelf life: 2 years. After opening the bottle - 8:00. Storage conditions: In a dry and dark place at a temperature of 2 ° C to 8 ° C.
Do not freeze. Release form: The vaccine is contained in glass vials made of hydrolytic glass class I, closed with rubber stoppers and rolled up with aluminum caps.
