1 pill 62.5 mg: Amoxicillin 50 mg + Clavulanic acid 12.5 mg
1 pill 250 mg: Amoxicillin 200 mg + Clavulanic acid 50 mg
🚑 Treatment of cats and dogs in diseases of the skin (including the treatment of deep and superficial purulent dermatitis), soft tissues of the oral cavity (e.g. gingivitis), urinary tract, respiratory organs (including diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract), gastrointestinal tract (enteritis), caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin and clavulanic acid
🟢 Dosage and method of use:
The drug is prescribed at a dose of 12.5 mg per 1 kg of animal body weight twice a day.
🔹Clavaseptin 62.5 mg - 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight.
🔹Clavaseptin 250 mg - 1 tablet per 20 kg of body weight.
⚠️ Place the divided tablets back into the open blister and use within 16 hours.
In severe infections, the dose can be doubled to 25 mg per 1 kg of animal body weight twice daily.
🟢 Duration of treatment:
🔹7 days for periodontal infection in dogs
🔹from 7 to 14 days for skin infections in cats (including wounds, abscesses).
The clinical condition of the animals should be reassessed after 7 days and, if necessary, treatment should be continued for another 7 days.
⚠️ CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to penicillins or other substances from the β-lactam group or to any of the excipients.
Do not administer to gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and chinchillas.
Do not administer to horses or ruminants.
Do not use in animals with severe renal failure with concomitant oliguria or anuria.
Do not use in cases of known resistance to the combination of amoxicillin with clavulanic acid.
