🟢 METHOD OF USE:
⚠ In order to prevent the occurrence of anaphylaxis, the following administration is recommended: first 0.25 ml, then after 30-60 minutes - the remaining dose of the drug.
⚠ To prevent an anaphylactic reaction, antihistamines (SUPRASTIN) should be used 10-15 minutes before injection of DOG PROTECT-5
The drug is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously.
🟢 DOSAGE:
For prevention - once:
🔹 for dogs weighing up to 5 kg - once in a dose of 1.0 cm3
🔹 for dogs over 5 kg - once 2.0 cm3.
For therapeutic purposes (the drug is used 1-4 times with an interval of 12-24 hours, depending on the severity of the pathological process):
🔹 for dogs weighing up to 5 kg - 1-3 times x 1.0 cm3
🔹 for dogs over 5 kg - 1-3 times x 2.0 cm3.
The greatest therapeutic effect is achieved by using serum in the initial phase of the disease.

It is allowed to use serum for nursing females and puppies up to 6 weeks of age with caution.

Violations of the serum regimen should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in the preventive and therapeutic effect.
Side effects:
Cases of overdose with the use of the drug have not been established. With the introduction of the drug, some dogs may experience a slight increase in body temperature and allergic reactions.

To exclude these phenomena, it is recommended to parenterally administer an antihistamine to the animal 10-15 minutes before administering DOG-PROTECT 5.
When using the drug according to the leaflet-tabs, the serum is harmless.
⚠ Contraindications:
It is forbidden to administer the serum to sick and weakened dogs with clinical signs of other infectious diseases.
Precautions for use:
Do not use the serum if the vials are cracked or the caps are twisted and if it is cloudy.
Interaction with other agents:
For treatment, the serum can be used in combination with antibiotics, sulfonamides, probiotics, as well as drugs intended for symptomatic treatment.
The serum is not used in the same syringe with other biological products.

Polyvalent serum against canine distemper, parvovirus, coronavirus enteritis and adenovirus infections of dogs "DOG-PROTECT 5". Composition The drug is a blood serum of cattle containing specific antibodies against pathogens of canine distemper, parvovirus, coronavirus enteritis and canine adenoviruses.
Pharmaceutical form:
A transparent or slightly opalescent liquid with a color from light yellow to reddish brown, with a slight whitish sediment, which after shaking forms a homogeneous liquid.
Biological properties Serum "DOG-PROTECT 5" administered to dogs for prophylactic purposes provides passive immunity to plague, parvovirus, coronavirus enteritis and adenovirus infections, which lasts for 14 days.
The drug has medicinal properties that are maximally visible during the incubation and prodromal periods of the infectious process.
Best before:
24 months from the date of production.
Use within 24 hours of opening the vial. Freezing is not allowed.

Storage and transport conditions:
Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2°C to 8°C for 24 months.
