🐈 FELOCELL 4 🐈
1 dose: lyophilisate (vaccine) and solution for injection (solvent) 1 ml
🚑 Vaccine for the prevention of viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, panleukopenia and chlamydia of cats.
An immune response is formed 21 days after the vaccine administration, duration not less than 12 months.
The vaccine is safe, which has been proven in experiments involving 2 thousand cats
🟢 DOSAGE:
Only healthy animals should be vaccinated. The vaccine is administered to animals in a volume of 1.0 ml (1 immunizing dose) subcutaneously or intramuscularly, observing the principles of sterility.
🔹 Primary vaccination:
Kittens are vaccinated twice:
- in 1 dose (1 ml) from 12 weeks of age
- in 1 dose (1 ml) at an interval of 3-4 weeks
🔹 Booster vaccination:
1 dose of vaccine is administered annually.
Before use, add 1 cm3 of diluent to the vaccine vial using a sterile syringe and shake thoroughly.
Sterile syringes and needles are used to administer the vaccine. The skin surface at the injection site should be cleaned with 70% alcohol.
In the event of an overdose of the vaccine, there are no symptoms of viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, feline panleukopenia and chlamydia or other pathological symptoms.
No specific features of the post-vaccination reaction have been established with the first and subsequent doses.
Violation of the vaccination schedule should be avoided, as this may lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of immunoprophylaxis against viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, panleukopenia and chlamydia of cats. If the next vaccination is missed, immunization should be carried out as soon as possible.
If the vaccine is administered according to these instructions, side effects and complications are usually not observed. In some cases, anaphylaxis may occur, which requires symptomatic treatment.
The interaction of the vaccine with other drugs has not been established.
🟡 Dosage form:
Lyophilisate (vaccine) and solution for injection (solvent).
The vaccine is produced from attenuated strains of feline rhinotracheitis virus (FVRm strain), calicivirus (F-9 strain), feline panleukopenia virus (Snow Leopard strain) and Chlamydia psittacci (Baker strain) with the addition of casein solution (12.5±0.5%), gelatin solution (4±0.5%), sucrose solution (10±0.5%) and gentamicin (30 μg/cm).
The solvent is water for injection (1 cm3).
In appearance, the vaccine is a dry porous white mass, and the solvent is a colorless transparent liquid.
The vaccine components are packed in 1 cm3 (one dose) in plastic vials of appropriate capacity, hermetically closed with rubber stoppers reinforced with aluminum caps.
🟢 Biological properties:
The vaccine induces an immune response to the causative agents of viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, panleukopenia and chlamydia in cats, after 21 days of repeated administration, lasting 12 months.
One immunizing dose of Felocel 4 vaccine contains at least: infectious rhinotracheitis virus - 105.7 TCID50; calicivirus - 106.2 TCID50, feline panleukopenia virus - 103.0 TCID50 and Chlamydia psitlacci - 103.2 TCID50.
The vaccine is harmless and has no therapeutic properties.
⚠️ The shelf life of the vaccine is 18 months from the date of production, subject to storage and transport conditions. After the expiry date, the vaccine is not suitable for use.
The vaccine should be stored and transported at a temperature of 2°C to 7°C. Avoid freezing. The vaccine should be kept out of the reach of children.
