Composition
Active ingredient - imidacloprid, moxidectin; auxiliary components - benzyl alcohol, caprylic triglyceride, N-methylpyrrolidone, PEG-400.

Pharmacological properties
Imidacloprid belongs to the group of chloronicotinyl compounds. Blocks postsynaptic cholinergic receptors sensitive to nicotine and located in ectoparasites in the central nervous system. Interruption of nerve impulse transmission leads to death and paralysis of the parasite. Imidacloprid has a low level of penetration through the blood-brain barrier, so it has virtually no effect on the central nervous system of mammals.

Moxidectin - belongs to the second generation of macrocyclic lactones of the milbemycin group. It acts against many ecto- and endoparasites. Active against larvae and gastrointestinal nematodes. Moxidectin interacts with gamma-aminobutyric acid and glutaric chloride channels of parasites, which leads to the opening of chloride channels in the postsynaptic space. An increase in the amount of chloride ions leads to an irreversible decrease in muscle activity, paralysis and death of parasites.

Purpose
Prevention and treatment of dogs with mixed parasitic infestations caused by:

ectoparasites: fleas (Ctenocephalides canis), lice (Linognathus setosus), lice (Trichodectes canis), ticks (Otodectes cynotis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis, Demodex canis);

endoparasites: nematodes (Dirofilaria immitis - microdirofilaria (larvae L3 and L4); Angiostrongylus vasorum - larva L4, immature; Сrenosoma vulpis), gastrointestinal nematodes (Toxocara canis - larvae L4, immature and mature; Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala; Toxascaris leonine - imago; Trichuris vulpis).

The drug can be used as one of the means in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis.

Order of application
The drug is prescribed to animals once by drip application to dry, intact skin. To destroy ticks and fleas, cats are treated once, to prevent re-infestation throughout the season of parasite activity - as indicated, but not more than once a month.

In the treatment of allergic dermatitis caused by insects, it is advisable to use the drug in combination with pathogenetic and symptomatic drugs.

Dosage
3.0 ml (1 pipette) for an animal weighing 20 to 30 kg/ 30 -40 kg

Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the drug. It is not allowed to use in animals sick with infectious diseases and recovering animals, as well as dogs weighing less than 1 kg and puppies under 7 weeks of age. Treatment of pregnant and lactating bitches must be carried out under the supervision of a veterinarian.

Side effects
Side effects and complications when using the drug in accordance with these instructions, as a rule, are not observed. In rare cases, some animals may have individual skin reactions (redness, itching), which spontaneously disappear within 1 - 4 days and do not require the use of drugs. Overdose causes neurological symptoms: impaired coordination, tremor, shortness of breath, hypersalivation (when licking the drug), which also disappear spontaneously within a few hours.
