CANIFEL tablets No. 10 UKRVETBIOPHARM
Description:
0.7 g oval tablets in 10-piece blisters.
Composition: Active ingredient: pyrantel embonate - 148 mg, fenbendazole - 150 mg, praziquantel - 50 mg.
Excipients: lactose, calcium stearate, potato starch. Pharmacological action: Anthelmintic drug.
KANIFEL has a broad spectrum of antiparasitic action on all stages of development of round and tapeworms, including: Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides spp., Echinococcus multilocularis. The components of the drug inhibit enzymes, damage the membranes and muscle tissue of the parasite, which leads to disruption of neuromuscular innervation, paralysis and death of the helminth. KANIFEL is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals. Indications for use: KANIFEL is intended for therapeutic treatment and prevention of dogs and cats with nematodosis (toxocariasis, toxascariasis, uncinariasis, ancylostomiasis, trichuriasis) and cestodiasis (taeniasis, echinococcosis, dipylidiosis).
Method of administration and dosage: Individually orally whole or mixed with food. If possible, do not use together with dairy food. Dosage: puppies, small breeds of dogs and cats: - 0.25 tablets of 0.7 g per 2 kg; - 0.5 tablets of 0.7 g per 5 kg of live weight. Medium-sized dogs: - 0.5 tablets of 0.7 g per 5 kg -1 tablet of 0.7 g per 10 kg of live weight. Large dogs: - 1 tablet for every starting 10 kg of live weight. Deworming is recommended every 3 months. Animal species: Dogs, cats.
Contraindications: Ocular cysticercosis and spinal neurocysticercosis. Liver disease. Do not use simultaneously with piperazine and other antiparasitic drugs.
Release form: Blisters with tablets of 10 pcs. Storage: Dry dark place at a temperature from +5 °C to + 25 °C with intact primary packaging.
Shelf life - 3 years.
