megestrol acetate - 10 mg.

Pharmacological properties:
Megestrol acetate is a synthetic progestogen that affects the hypothalamic-pituitary system of the animal, blocks the secretion of gonadotropic hormones (follicle stimulating and luteinizing) by the adenotropic pituitary gland. A reduced level of these hormones in the blood of animals leads to impaired testosterone synthesis in males, which provides an antiestrogenic effect on the gonads of animals, causing inhibition of sexual drive. In males, megestrol acetate also acts as a behavior regulator.
After taking the recommended dose, sexual drive in animals returns after 3-4 months.
Megestrol acetate is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine within 1-2 days.
Contraindication:
Diseases of the genital organs, diabetes. Animals that have not reached sexual maturity.
