🐕 LEVOMIKOL 0.5%🐈 eye drops
🚑 Treatment of dogs, cats, ornamental rodents, patients with conjunctivitis, keratitis, infected eye wounds, corneal ulcers caused by microorganisms sensitive to chloramphenicol. Prevention of postoperative complications.
🟢 Dosage:
The drug should be administered 2-3 drops to the eye 2 times a day for 3-10 days, depending on the course of the disease.
⚠️ Contraindication:
Increased individual sensitivity to chloramphenicol.
Do not use simultaneously with quinolone antibiotics, ristomycin, penicillin.
🟢 Composition of the drug:
1 ml of the drug contains the active substance: chloramphenicol - 5 mg.
Excipients: sodium tetraborate, boric acid, sodium chloride, trilon B, water for injection.

Chloramphenicol is a synthetic antibiotic with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, active against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, such as: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Shigella spp., Brucella spp., Pasteurella tularensis, Escherichia coli, Proteus spp., Salmonella spp., Bacillusanthracis, Corynebacterium pyogenes, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, as well as rickettsia (Rickettsia spp.), mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.), chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.). Chloramphenicol works by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, which leads to inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.
The antibiotic easily penetrates various tissues and body fluids, including joints, eye, ear, and uterus tissues. It is excreted from the body, mainly through the kidneys, partly in pure form and in the form of complex compounds with glucuronic acid.

A dry, dark place out of reach of children, at a temperature of 5° to 25°C.
🔹Expiration date - 3 years.
After opening the bottle, the drug should be used within 10 days, provided it is stored in a dark place, at a temperature of 5° to 25°C.
