1 ml. - contains 50 mg of Metronidazole
🚑 Metronidazole is effective against parasites such as:
🔹 Giardia lamblia
🔹 Trichomonas
🔹 Balantidia;
🔹 Amoeba;
🔹 Histomanada;
🔹 Gram-negative and Gram-positive anaerobes. Dogs and cats - treats diarrhea, ulcerative gingivitis and giardiasis
METHOD OF USE AND DOSAGE:
In the treatment of animal diseases, the drug is administered:
🟢 Tablets inside at a dose of 10-20 mg (in active substance) per 1 kg of body weight twice a day (morning and evening) - 10 - 20 days, if necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 7 - 10 days.
🟢 Metronidazole 5% solution is administered intramuscularly twice with an interval of 48 hours at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (5 mg / kg of metronidazole) for dysentery and 2 ml per 10 kg of animal weight (10 mg / kg of metronidazole 5%) for balantidosis.

If the volume of the injected solution exceeds 10 ml, it should be administered to animals in different places.
In severe cases (especially with anaerobic infections), administer once a day for 3-5 days.
If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 10-15 days. Symptomatic treatment is carried out at the same time, vitamins are prescribed; disinfection and deratization are carried out.
⚠ Contraindication:
Pregnancy and increased individual sensitivity to metronidazole
SIDE EFFECTS:
Allergy symptoms are very rarely observed, in such cases, metronidazole is discontinued and desensitization therapy is carried out.
