NEUPOGEN (Filgrastim) generic is a prescription medicine used to treat your body to make more white blood cells. White blood cells are important to help you fight infections. Filgrastim is given to people whose ability to make white blood cells is reduced (for example, by chemotherapy, chronic neutropenia, or exposure to large amounts of radiation). Filgrastim is also used in some medical treatments (for example, bone marrow/stem cell transplants). NEUPOGEN is manufactured by AMGEN Pharma Ltd. in the USA.
FILGRASTIM is to be taken by injection under the skin or into a vein as directed by your doctor. For use during chemotherapy.
