COMPOSITION
1 ml of the drug contains active substances:

fipronil - 3.0 mg;

alpha-cypermethrin - 1.0 mg.

Excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, benzyl benzoate, isopropyl alcohol.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
ATC vet QP53 - ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents.

PerFect is a combined drug that includes fipronil and alpha-cypermethrin.

Fipronil is a widely used broad-spectrum insecticide. It has moderate systemic properties and high residual activity.

Fipronil acts as a blocker of gamma-aminobutyric acid, which is responsible for regulating the passage of nerve impulses, due to which the nervous system is affected. During the transmission of excitation through the cells, the acid plays the role of a mediator. Fipronil can actively fight against many types of insects resistant to other insectoacaricides.

The insect dies from paralysis after 8-10 hours after being exposed to it.

Alpha-cypermethrin is a repellent, and it is also a contact synthetic pyrethroid with a broad spectrum of insecticidal activity that blocks the transmission of nerve impulses, causing incoordination, paralysis and death of ectoparasites. It is quickly metabolized and excreted from the body, so it does not accumulate in animal tissues.

After applying the drug to the skin, the active substances accumulate in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the animal and have a long-lasting insectoacaricidal effect.

INDICATIONS FOR APPLICATION
Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats affected by ectoparasites:

- fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.);

- parasitiform and scabies ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermatocentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus);

- lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus).

Prevention and treatment of flea allergic dermatitis in dogs and cats.

METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
Externally. Before treating the animal, the bottle is thoroughly shaken and, by pressing the spray cap, directs the stream of the drug onto the animal's skin from a distance of 10-15 cm.

Bottles of 250 ml - 3-4 pressures on the spray lever per 1 kg of the animal's body weight.

Bottles of 100 ml - 10-14 pressures per 1 kg of the animal's body weight.

With one hand, press the lever of the atomizer, spraying the drug at a distance of 10-15 cm from the animal's body, with the other hand, lift the fur, leading the hand against the fur, so that the drug moistens the fur and skin of the animal. After applying the drug, rub with light movements for better penetration into the skin.

With one-time use, the drug protects the animal from ticks for 30 days, from fleas for 60-70 days.

For long-haired animals, it is possible to increase the dose by 20-25%.

CONTRAINDICATION
Increased sensitivity to the constituent components of the drug.

Do not use in sick, exhausted and weakened animals.

Do not use in puppies under 10 weeks of age and kittens under 12 weeks of age and weighing less than 2 kg.

Do not use the drug in pregnant animals and females during lactation.

RESERVATION
When working with the drug, follow the basic hygiene and safety rules adopted when working with veterinary drugs.

Processing of animals should be carried out in the open air or in a well-ventilated room until the natural drying of the wool cover.

Do not allow animals to lick the drug, keep them away from open flames and heating devices.

It is important to follow the rules of safe fixation of animals.

After handling the animal, hands should be washed with soap.

Within 48 hours after treatment, the animal cannot be petted or allowed near small children.

It is not recommended to bathe the animal three days before and after treatment with the drug.

Do not allow the drug to get into the eyes.
