Description
Bayer Procox is prescribed to puppies and adult dogs for the treatment and prevention of eimeriosis and worm infestation.
Application:
Treatment and prevention of dogs with mixed infestations caused by roundworms (mature and immature adults, Toxocara canis larvae, Uncinaria stenocephala adult adults, Ancylostoma caninum adult adults) and Eymeri (Isospora ohioensis complex, Isospora canis).
To stop the division of eimeria and the release of oocysts into the environment.
Treatment of animals with the drug slows down the spread of eimeriosis, but is not an effective method of treatment for clinical manifestations of the disease.
Contraindication:
Importantly! Do not use for animals with increased sensitivity to the components of the drug (collie dogs, shelties, bobtails, Australian shepherds and white Swiss shepherds)
Do not use for puppies younger than 2 weeks and weighing less than 0.4 kg
Do not use for females during pregnancy and the first 2 weeks of feeding
Reservation:
The use of the drug in exhausted animals, as well as in animals with liver and kidney diseases, should be based on risk assessment and the need for treatment
When fighting Eymeriosis, it is necessary to develop a whole set of measures aimed at eliminating the causative agent. In nurseries, when clinical signs of eimeriosis appear, each litter must be treated with Procox. Processing must be carried out for a long time. All dogs at risk of infection should be treated at the same time, including adults, as they may have a subclinical course of the disease
Why should you buy?
Effective against sexually mature and larval stages of round helminths
Stops the process of Eimeria reproduction, thus preventing the spread of infection
