🐕 RINGER-LOCKE 🐈 Injection solution 200 ml
🚑 For the treatment of animals:
🔹 Dehydration of various origins: prolonged vomiting, indigestion, diarrhea, large burns, frostbite, acute massive blood loss, collapse, shock conditions
🔹 poisoning and lowering blood pressure;
🔹 the drug is used in severe infectious diseases, shock conditions, collapse;
🔹 during surgery and in the postoperative period; 🔹 use externally to wash wounds and mucous membranes
🔹 as a solvent for dry injection forms
🟢 DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
subcutaneously or intravenously in the following doses (in ml per animal):
🔹 horses - 1000 ml - 3000 ml
🔹 dogs - 10 ml - 200 ml
🔹 cats - 5 ml - 50 ml
Doses and application times depend on the weight of the animal and the course of the disease.
When the dose of the drug is administered subcutaneously, it is injected finely into different places.
Contraindication:
There are no contraindications to the use of Ringer-Locke solution.
Special instructions:
In the recommended doses, Ringer-Locke solution does not cause side effects and complications in animals.
The use of Ringer-Locke solution does not exclude the use of other drugs.
🟢 Composition of the drug:
100 ml of the drug contains active substances (g)
sodium chloride 0.9;
glucose 0.1;
potassium chloride 0.02;
calcium chloride 0.02;
sodium bicarbonate 0.02.
Excipients: water for injection.
🟢 Pharmacological properties:
The drug has an osmotic pressure similar to blood plasma; normalizes the water-salt balance of the body. Potassium ions are the main intracellular ions, and sodium ions are extracellular. The balanced content of these ions ensures the isotonicity of the body's cells. Potassium increases the tone of the parasympathetic nervous system, and calcium increases the tone of the sympathetic nervous system. Sodium bicarbonate increases the alkaline reserve of the blood, which prevents the occurrence of acidosis. Glucose provides replenishment of energy expenditure.
Release form:
200 ml glass bottles, sealed with rubber stoppers and aluminum caps for lapping.
Storage:
Dry, dark place, at a temperature of 0°C to 25°C.
Shelf life is 2 years. After the first selection from the bottle, use the medicine within three days.
