🐕 VORMIKIL 🐈 Deworming paste: 1 g = fenbendazole 50 mg; praziquantel 5 mg 🚑 Deworming dogs and cats with: cestodoses (Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus spp., Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp.) and nematodes (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma canis, Hybridaceae). Dosage: 🍀 The recommended dose is 1 g/kg body weight at one time. Before introducing the drug, the animal's body weight should be accurately determined and the drug syringe dispenser should be adjusted accordingly. The medicine is available in 5 and 14 g syringe tubes, corresponding to a single dose for animals weighing 5 and 14 kg, respectively. Remove the cap from the syringe cannula, insert the syringe into the animal's mouth and squeeze out the appropriate amount of paste set by the dispenser. Then close the cannula with a lid. To facilitate administration, the appropriate dose of the medicine can be mixed with a small amount of feed and given to the animal. No diet or administration of the drug on an empty stomach is required. ⚠ To treat nematodes, Vormiqil paste is used twice with an interval of 7-10 days. It is recommended to deworm animals once a quarter. Kittens and puppies can be dewormed from 30 days of age. Form: Polypropylene syringe tubes in cardboard boxes: 🔹 5 grams 🔹 14 grams Composition: 1 g of paste contains active ingredients: fenbendazole - 0.05 g; praziquantel - 0.005 g. Pharmacological properties: 🟣 The active substance - fenbendazole (benzimidazole group) inhibits the polymerization of tubulin proteins into microtubulin, reduces the activity of energy enzymes, slows down the metabolism of worms, as a result of which the absorption of nutrients (adenosine triphosphoric acid and glucose) is disturbed, mitochondrial reactions decrease, complete exhaustion occurs and parasite paralysis. Fenbendazole is practically non-toxic to animals, embryotoxic and teratogenic properties have not been established. 🟣 Fenbendazole has an ovicidal effect. It is effective against gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, and in increased doses - against flukes and tapeworms of animals. 🟣 Praziquantel is active against tapeworms (belt passengers), is quickly absorbed by the entire surface of the parasites and is evenly distributed throughout the body. Praziquantel increases the permeability of the membrane to calcium ions, causes an increase in muscle activity, which leads to muscle contraction and spastic paralysis, and causes destruction of the outer cuticle in adult tapeworms. Often, dead tapeworms are completely digested in the gastrointestinal tract and are not found in the feces. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug. Do not use in females during pregnancy and lactation, undernourished or suffering from infectious diseases. Storage: In a dry, dark place inaccessible to children at a temperature from 0 to 250C. Validity period - 2 years.
