Pharmacological properties:
Alpha-casozepine acts directly on the brain and spinal cord through GABA receptors. These are the same receptors that benzodiazepines affect. Benzodiazepines are prescription tranquilizers. The effect of alpha-cazozepine is dose-dependent - higher doses were more effective in reducing anxiety than lower doses. In an animal study, the safety of alpha-cazozepine was studied, and it was found that it did not produce the side effects typical of benzodiazepines.

Indications for use:

In severe stressful situations and severe depression of the animal, the dose can be doubled.

It can be given immediately before a stressful event, starting 1-2 days before it. It can also be given daily for 1-2 months to animals that are under severe stress.
