Ferrovet +B12 is a drug intended for the prevention and treatment of anemia associated with iron or vitamin B12 deficiency in animals of various species, increasing the level of hemoglobin in the blood, strengthening health, increasing productivity and weight gain in farm animals.

It is available in glass bottles of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 ml and is a transparent brown liquid with a faint odor.

Composition per 1 ml of the drug:

Trivalent iron - 100 mg
Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) - 0.1 mg
Isotonic NaCl solution - up to 1 ml
Instructions for use
Indications for use: treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia in young animals, restorative therapy for animals weakened after childbirth, acceleration of body weight gain.

Contraindications: lack of vitamin E, diarrhea in an animal.

Method of administration and dosage: the drug is administered intramuscularly once in the muscle mass of the thigh or neck.

Dosage for the prevention of anemia per animal:

• Piglets (from 3-5 days of life) - 1 ml, if necessary, the treatment can be repeated when the piglets are 2 weeks old.

• Sows (2-3 weeks before birth) - 8-10 ml

• Calves, foals (on the 3-4th day after birth) - 4-6 ml

• Puppies (in the first 7 days of life) - 0.2-0.5 ml

• Lambs (on the 5-6th day after birth) - 1-1.5 ml.

Dosage for treatment per animal - prescribed after the animal reaches two weeks of age:

• Piglets - 1.5 ml

• Lambs - 2-3 ml

• Calves, foals - 6-8 ml

• Puppies - 0.5 ml.

Overdose of the drug is dangerous to the life and health of the animal!

Interaction with other drugs: cannot be taken simultaneously with tetracyclines, cannot be mixed with other veterinary vitamin-containing drugs.

Side effects: in rare cases, death of animals with a lack of vitamin E or selenium in the body is possible, death of piglets with increased genetic sensitivity to iron preparations is also possible.

The use of the drug does not limit the possibility of selling animal meat and does not impair its quality.
