🟢 DOSAGE:
Cats up to 4 kg - 0.5 ml pipette
Cats 4-8 kg - 1 ml pipette
The drug is intended for external use. It is applied to dry and intact skin areas, in places inaccessible for licking: neck, along the spine. Use no more than once a month during the season of ectoparasite activity. Insects parasitizing the animal die within 12 hours after the procedure, death or detachment of ticks within 48 hours. If necessary, repeat the treatments once a month.

🟢 Indications for cats:
🔹Treatment and prevention of siphonapterosis (flea invasion):
A single treatment prevents flea invasion for 4 weeks. It is advisable to combine the treatment of animals with the drug Golden Defence for cats with the treatment of animal habitats in order to break the life cycle of fleas. 🔹 In the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis, the drug is recommended to be used monthly. 🔹 Treatment of otodectosis:
Single use. Reprocessing is possible after 30 days. Do not apply the drug directly to the ear canal. 🔹 Treatment of notohedrosis:
Single use. 🔹 Treatment and prevention of intestinal and lungworms:
Monthly treatment of animals with the drug reduces the possibility of infection with roundworms. The drug is also used during the period of preventive quarantine (based on the results of stool samples), during scheduled and seasonal deworming of cats against intestinal and lungworms. 🔹 🔹Prevention of heartworm disease:
The drug is used 1 month before the expected activity of insects, throughout the period of their activity and another month after their activity ends or throughout the year. It is recommended to treat animals on the same day of each month. If the animal was treated with another drug protecting against microdirofilariae, Golden Defense for cats can be used 1 month after the end of treatment with the previous drug.

⚠️Contraindication:
Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

For cats: in kittens up to 9 weeks of age and weighing up to 1 kg, the use of the drug should be taken after assessing the risk and the need for treatment.

⚠️Side effect:
After using the drug in cats, short-term itching is possible, in individual cases erythema, symptoms of wool salting, vomiting. These symptoms quickly disappear without treatment.
Animals that accidentally lick the drug immediately after administration may experience symptoms of nervous disorders (ataxia, generalized tremor, dilated pupils, nystagmus), respiratory disorders, increased salivation and vomiting. These symptoms disappear within a few minutes without additional treatment.

The product has a bitter taste, therefore salivation that appears after licking is not a sign of poisoning and disappears after a few minutes without treatment. Correct administration of the drug minimizes the possibility of licking. In very rare cases, the use of the drug may cause temporary changes in the animal's behavior, such as lethargy, agitation and loss of appetite.

Do not use Golden Defense simultaneously with other macrocyclic lactones with antiparasitic activity.

🟡 Composition of the drug:
1 ml of the drug contains active substances:
imidacloprid - 100 mg;
moxidectin - 10 mg.
Excipients: benzyl alcohol, butylhydroxytoluene (E 321), propylene carbonate.
Golden Defense combines the power of two active ingredients - imidacloprid and moxidectin.
🔹Moxidectin penetrates the skin into the animal's blood and is delivered to various organs along with it. The ultimate target is worms and mites living in the animal's skin.

🔹Imidacloprid spreads across the animal's skin, or rather its lipid layer, and acts externally. Its targets are fleas, lice, and lice.
