Anti itching, 15 ml for dogs The suspension is from light yellow to dark yellow in color with a specific odor of the components. It delaminates during storage. Compound 1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients: triamcinolone – 1.0 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride – 2.0 mg, riboflavin – 4.0 mg, nicotinamide – 10.0 mg, methionine – 20.0 mg, succinic acid – 2.0 mg. Excipients: xanthan gum, Tween-80, sodium benzoate, sucrose, glycerin, flavoring, purified water - up to 1.0 ml. Pharmacological properties The drug, due to the presence in its composition of a highly effective anti-inflammatory component, vitamins, methionine and succinic acid, has a complex effect on irritated skin, quickly eliminates the unpleasant sensations of dryness, itching and discomfort in animals. Triamcinolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, desensitizing and anti-edematous effect; it blocks the release of inflammatory mediators, including prostaglandins, which potentiate the inflammatory process. B vitamins, succinic acid and methionine improve metabolism and tissue nutrition, help accelerate healing processes, reduce the inflammatory response and have a complex positive effect on the condition of the skin and hair. In terms of the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals, the drug is classified as a low-hazard substance. Indications for use Treatment of dogs with inflammatory and allergic skin diseases (atopic dermatitis, eczema, diffuse neurodermatitis, scratching, alopecia, reactions to insect bites). The first 4 days the drug is used at a therapeutic dose, the next 8 days - at a dose of ½ of the therapeutic dose. The course of treatment can be continued according to the opinion of the attending veterinary doctor. Contraindications Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the active substances or any excipient. Do not use in animals suffering from diabetes mellitus or viral infections. It is not recommended to use the drug for pregnant and lactating females, as well as puppies and kittens under 8 weeks of age. The drug is not intended for use in productive animals. Side effects When using the drug in accordance with the leaflet insert, side effects and complications in animals, as a rule, are not observed. Animals with increased individual sensitivity may experience depression, lethargy, increased salivation, and gastrointestinal dysfunction. In these cases, the use of the drug is stopped and, if necessary, symptomatic treatment is prescribed. When using the drug for the first time, in some cases, animals may experience an increase in salivation, which quickly passes and does not require the use of drugs. The drug is not recommended for use simultaneously with other medications containing corticosteroid hormones. Release form Bottles made of neutral glass (brands NS-1, NS-2, USP-1), closed with rubber stoppers for aluminum rolling or polymer bottles, sealed with plastic caps of 15 ml.
