1 ml: kanamycin sulfate – 250 mg
🚑 Treatment of sepsis, mastitis, abscesses, phlegm, as well as respiratory, urogenital and skin diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to kanamycin in horses, dogs and cats:
Escherichia coli
Salmonella spp.
Shigella spp.
Enterobacter aerogenes
Klebsiella spp.
some species of Proteus spp. and Serratia spp.
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Pasteurella multocida
Staphylococcus aureus
Serpulina hyodysenteriae
Mycoplasma spp.
🟢 Dosage:
Intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously slowly at a dose of:
🔹 horses – 2 ml drug per 50 kg of body weight once a day;
🔹 dogs and cats - 0.1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight once a day;
The course of treatment is 3-5 days.
⚠️ Contraindication:
Increased sensitivity to kanamycin. Do not use in animals with impaired renal function, hearing and balance. Do not use simultaneously with other aminoglycoside antibiotics and antibiotics with nephrotoxic effects (polymyxin B, colistin, amphotericin, chloramphenicol, cephalosporins, erythromycin), as well as with muscle relaxants and anesthetics (halothane) (furosemide).

Kanamycin binds to the 30S ribosome subunit and blocks protein synthesis in the bacterial cell.

Storage:
A dry, dark place out of reach of children, at a temperature of 5 to 25°C.
