🟢 DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
The drug is used externally, applied to dry, intact skin
1 applicator 0.3 ml - for cats and kittens up to 2.5 kg
1 applicator 0.9 ml - for cats from 2.5-75 kg
Use scissors to cut the package along the dotted line.
Remove the applicator from the package and hold it up.
Prepare the area on the back of the animal's neck (a place that is hard to reach for licking the medication) for application by moving the cat's fur and exposing the skin area.
Put the tip of the applicator on the skin and apply the entire contents directly to the skin in one place.
The product should be applied to dry skin in an area where the cat cannot lick it off. In long-haired breeds, special care should be taken to apply the product directly to the skin and not to the wool to ensure optimal effect.
🟢 NexGard Combo is intended to combat and prevent infections with fleas, ticks (including ear mites) and parasitic worms in cats. The medicine is convenient because it affects 12! types of cat parasites at the same time. It is recommended to use it if the animal suffers from external and internal parasites or there is a reasonable suspicion of such a problem.
NexGard Combo kills ticks and protects against re-infection for a period of one month to five weeks (depending on the species) and kills fleas so quickly that they do not have time to lay eggs. NexGard Combo is equally cruel to worms. A sensational new-generation drug that will cleanse the cat's body of most types of parasites in just one dose! The drug is also effective in treating ringworm.
The three active substances contained in the drug effectively combat not only adult parasites, but also their larvae. Cats must be treated for parasites, otherwise they reproduce very quickly and in critical quantities can cause irreversible damage to the animal's health. NexGard Combo can be used not only in adult cats, but also in kittens during the period of active growth: use is permitted in animals from 8 weeks of age and weighing from 0.8 kg.

NexGard Combo is used to treat tapeworms, gastrointestinal worms, is also effective in the treatment of infections caused by lungworms and is used in the prevention of heartworm disease.
⚠️Contraindication:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or additives.

⚠️Side effects:
In clinical studies, excessive salivation, diarrhea, transient skin reactions at the application site (local alopecia, itching), lack of appetite, lethargy and vomiting were rarely observed shortly after administration. Most reactions are mild, short-term and self-limiting.

🟢 Treatment regimen:
🔹In the treatment of flea and/or tick infestations and/or mycosis and concomitant treatment of gastrointestinal and/or pulmonary and/or urinary tract roundworms and tapeworms, a single dose of the drug should be used. Necessity and

The frequency of treatment must be in accordance with the veterinarian's recommendations and take into account the local epidemiological situation and the animal's lifestyle (e.g. whether it has access to the street). 🔹 Heartworm-endemic areas: Cats that are not at constant risk of heartworm infection should be treated according to a treatment programme recommended by the veterinarian, adapted to each individual reinfection/reinfection situation. Otherwise, a shorter-spectrum product should be used to provide adequate control of the parasites. 🔹 Heartworm-endemic areas: Heartworm-endemic cats living in these areas can be treated at monthly intervals to provide adequate heartworm prophylaxis and treatment for any tapeworm reinfection. Otherwise, treatment should be continued with a shorter-spectrum product. Cardiovascular worm and heartworm prevention by killing Dirofilaria immitis larvae should be started within 1 month of the first contact with mosquitoes and continued until 1 month after the last contact with mosquitoes. 🔹Ear mites: In case of ear infestation, ask for a new veterinary examination 4 weeks after treatment to decide whether additional treatment with a lower-spectrum product is necessary. ⚠️Special precautions after use:⚠️
Avoid washing the animal with shampoo for another 2 days after administration, as the efficacy of the product in this case has not been studied.

Ticks and fleas must start feeding on the cat in order for it to be exposed to esafoxolaner, therefore the risk of arthropod transmission cannot be excluded.
Cats living in or traveling to areas endemic for cardiovascular worms may become infected with heartworms as adults. Although the drug can be safely administered to cats infected with adult heartworms, its therapeutic effect on adult Dirofilaria immitis heartworms has not been established. Therefore, it is recommended that all cats 6 months of age or older living in heartworm-endemic areas are tested for adult heartworm infection before preventive heartworm treatment.

Flatworm infestation may recur if intermediate hosts such as fleas, mice, etc. are not controlled.
Parasite resistance to a specific class of antiparasitic drug may develop following repeated use of a compound of that class over a long period of time. Therefore, epidemiological information on the current susceptibility of the target species should be taken into account to limit the possibility of future selection for resistance.

To reduce the risk of reinfection in the event of new flea infestations, it is recommended that all cats in the household be treated. Any other species of animal living in the same household should be treated with a drug specifically designed for that class. Fleas at any stage of their development can infest the cat's litter box, its usual resting places, such as carpets and upholstered furniture. In case of heavy infestation, these areas should be treated with an appropriate product and vacuumed regularly before treatment.

Special precautions for use on animals:
For spot treatment only. Do not inject, orally or by any other means. Avoid contact with the cat's eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse the eye area immediately with clean water. If eye irritation persists, seek veterinary advice.

It is very important that the veterinary medicinal product is applied to the skin in an area where the cat cannot lick the product, such as on the back of the head, between the shoulder blades. Make sure that animals do not lick each other until the treated area is no longer visible. Oral administration of the veterinary medicinal product has been reported to cause excessive salivation in cats. The veterinary medicinal product should only be used in cases of confirmed mixed infections or when cats are at significant risk of developing such mixed infections with ectoparasites and nematodes (including for the prevention of cardiovascular heartworm disease) and when concomitant treatment against tapeworms is indicated. In the absence of a risk of co-infection, an antiparasitic agent with a shorter spectrum of activity should be used as the first line of treatment.

The reason for prescription and frequency of use of this product should take into account the individual needs of the cat based on clinical assessment, the animal's lifestyle and the epidemiological situation (including the risk of zoonotic transmission, if applicable) in order to decide on the use . only in situations of infection or risk of combined infection.

The veterinary medicinal product must not be used on other cats without prior consultation with a veterinarian.

Repeated courses of treatment should be limited to specific, individual situations

(see treatment recommendations in Recommendations for proper use) with a minimum break of 4 weeks between treatment courses. The safety of using the drug for longer than 6 months has not been assessed, therefore treatment for a maximum of 6 consecutive months in a 12-month period is recommended.

Echinococcosis poses a threat to humans and is one of the diseases controlled by the World Organisation for Animal Health. In the case of echinococcosis, special rules for the treatment, monitoring and protection of persons should be observed. Experienced parasitologists or institutes should be consulted.

Special precautions for persons administering veterinary medicinal products to animals:
Do not smoke, drink or eat while working with the product.
Wash hands immediately after use.
Used applicators should be discarded immediately and kept out of the sight and reach of children.
Avoid contact of the fingers with the contents of the applicator. If this happens, wash the skin with soap and water. This veterinary medicinal product may cause eye irritation, which may be serious in exceptional cases. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Remove contact lenses, if worn, for the first 5 minutes and continue rinsing. Seek medical advice and show the doctor the product leaflet or label.

Before touching the application site, make sure that the application site is no longer visible. Children should not play with treated animals until the application site is no longer visible. It is recommended that recently treated animals do not sleep with their owners, especially children. It is recommended to treat animals in the evening to limit contact with people after treatment.

People with known hypersensitivity to esafoxolaner, eprinomectin, praziquantel or any of the excipients should not use this veterinary medicinal product.

Because fetotoxic and teratogenic effects have been described in laboratory animals after significant daily exposure to glycerol formal, pregnant women should wear gloves during administration to avoid direct contact with the product.

⚠️Pregnancy and lactation:⚠️
The safety of the veterinary medicinal product has not been established during pregnancy and lactation. Since fetotoxic and teratogenic effects have been described in laboratory animals following significant daily exposure to glycerol formal, the drug should only be used for risk assessment/application by a veterinarian.

⚠️Overdose:
The safety of use was assessed in healthy kittens aged 8 weeks and older given 5 times the maximum recommended dose and up to 6 times the maximum recommended dose at 4-week intervals. No adverse effects were observed at 3 times the maximum recommended dose. At 5 times the maximum recommended dose, one severe neurological adverse effect (ataxia, disorientation, apathy, tremors, hypothermia and mydriasis) was observed after the third treatment, which resolved after washing the affected area.

In some animals, dark red subcutaneous areas were observed at the injection site after the 5 times the maximum recommended dose.
