🚑 Oridermil is prescribed for the treatment of dogs and cats with otodectosis complicated by bacterial and / or fungal infection.
Composition and form of release:
The ointment contains active ingredients
* neomycin sulfate 350,000 IU
* nystatin 10,000,000 IU
* triamcinolone acetonide 0.1 g
* lindane 2 g
* lidocaine 0.5 m, and auxiliary components.
Pharmacological properties:
Ear ointment for dogs and cats with antibacterial, antiparasitic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory effects.
Indications:
Oridermil is prescribed for the treatment of dogs and cats with otodectosis complicated by bacterial and / or fungal infection.
Contraindication to use is increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. It is forbidden to use Oridermil in cases of tympanic membrane puncture, as well as in cats weighing less than 1.5 kg.
Oridermil is applied to the ears. Before using the drug, hygienic treatment of the auricle and external auditory canal should be performed.
Doses and method of application:
1 drop (0.5 cm/cubic) of the drug is injected into the ear canal, then the base of the ear is gently massaged.
In the initial phase of otodectic disease, the drug is applied twice with an interval of 5-7 days.
In otodectic disease complicated by bacterial and/or fungal infection, the drug is applied once a day for 7 days. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 7-14 days.
The ointment should be injected into both ears, even if only one is affected by otodectic disease.
In case of an overdose of the drug in animals, skin irritation may be observed in the area of ​​the auricle and auditory canal.
Features of the drug's action at first use or after its withdrawal have not been established.

The drug is not intended for use during pregnancy and lactation.

Avoid skipping the next dose of the drug, as this may lead to a decrease in its therapeutic effectiveness. In case of skipping one or more doses, the course of treatment should be resumed at the prescribed doses and regimen.

Side effects:
When using Oridermil, nystagmus, locomotor ataxia, loss of balance can rarely be observed.

Contraindication:
The drug is contraindicated for use in case of perforation of the tympanic membrane, hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as in pregnant or lactating animals. Special instructions. No special precautions are provided.
