Simparica chewable tablets, for dogs from 1.5 kg to 60 kg

Simparica belongs to the group of insectoacaricidal drugs of systemic action.

The sarolaner included in the drug is a compound of the isoxazoline group, active against fleas, ixodid, sarcoptic, psoroptoid and demodectic ticks parasitizing dogs. After application of the drug, sarolaner shows activity against fleas and ticks after 8-12 hours and continues its action for up to 35 days.

It also acts on all types of fleas parasitizing dogs, causing their death even before the moment of laying eggs, which prevents infestation of the house or the pet's sleeping place.

The drug is administered to dogs orally once with or without food at a dose of 2-4 mg/kg of the animal's body weight:

5 mg - one tablet for dogs weighing> 1.3 - 2.5 kg;

10 mg - one tablet for dogs weighing> 2.5 - 5 kg;

20 mg - one tablet for dogs weighing> 5 - 10 kg;

40 mg - one tablet for dogs weighing> 10 - 20 kg;

80 mg - one tablet for dogs weighing> 20 - 40 kg;

120 mg - one tablet for dogs weighing> 40 - 60 kg.

When treating tick and flea infestations, the drug is administered to dogs once a month during the flea and tick season. When treating scabies, the drug is administered to dogs once a month for 2 months. When treating demodicosis, the drug is prescribed to dogs once a month for 3 months.

Animals consume the drug without problems, since it has the taste of liver. If the dog does not eat the tablet itself, it is given with food. Do not split the tablet.

Contraindications:

Do not use in dogs with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug!
Do not use in sick and weakened animals!
Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age and weighing up to 1.3 kg, without risk assessment by a veterinarian.
Do not use in other animals. except dogs!
The safety of using the drug during pregnancy and lactation has not been established, and the drug can be used only with an assessment of the benefit/risk ratio, which is determined by a veterinarian.

Store at a temperature of 15-25 degrees Celsius. Shelf life is 30 months.
