amoxicillin (in the form of amoxicillin trihydrate) - 150.0 mg;

betamethasone dipropionate (in terms of betamethasone) - 0.5 mg;

Pharmacological properties
Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic from the aminopenicillin group. It prevents the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, inhibits transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase enzymes, causing a violation of osmotic pressure in the bacterial cell, which leads to the death of bacteria at the stage of their growth. The drug is active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Streptococcus spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Bacillus anthracis, Actinomyces spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Listeria monocytogenes, Actinobacillus spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, Fusobacterium spp., Moraxella spp., Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella spp.).

The maximum concentration in the blood plasma is achieved 1-2 hours after administration of the drug and remains at a therapeutic level for 48 hours. Amoxicillin is practically not metabolized. It is excreted from the body mainly with urine, to a lesser extent with milk and bile.

Betamethasone - belongs to the group of synthetic corticosteroids (adrenal cortex hormones), has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antiallergic, antiproliferative effects.

Betamethasone inhibits the functions of leukocytes and tissue macrophages. Limits the migration of leukocytes to the area of ​​inflammation. Impairs the ability of macrophages to phagocytosis, as well as to form interleukin-1. Promotes the stabilization of lysosomal membranes, thereby reducing the concentration of proteolytic enzymes in the area of ​​inflammation. Reduces capillary permeability due to the release of histamine. Inhibits the activity of fibroblasts and collagen formation.

Betamethasone dipropionate has a prolonged effect due to slow absorption. The bioavailability of betamethasone is approximately 72%, the half-life is 5.6 hours, 64% is bound to plasma proteins. It is broken down in the liver, excreted by the kidneys and only a small part is excreted with bile.

Indications for use
Treatment of cattle and pigs:

for diseases of the digestive tract (enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis), respiratory organs (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis) and genitourinary system (metritis, endometritis, mastitis, agalactia, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis); joints, skin and soft tissues (umbilical infections, wounds, abscesses, inflammations), as well as treatment of animals with leptospirosis, actinomycosis, swine erysipelas, parainfluenza, paratyphoid fever caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.

Treatment of dogs and cats:

for diseases of the digestive tract (enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis), respiratory organs (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis) and genitourinary system (metritis, endometritis, mastitis, agalactia, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis); joints, skin and soft tissues; acute and chronic otitis, surgical, wound, postpartum and other primary and secondary infections of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.

Method of administration and dosage
Intramuscularly or subcutaneously, a single dose:

Cattle, pigs 1 ml of the drug per 10 kg of animal body weight;

Dogs, cats 0.1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of animal body weight.

If necessary, a repeat injection is performed after 48 hours.

Withdrawal period:
Slaughter of productive animals for meat is permitted 21 days after the last application of the drug. Milk consumption is permitted 3 days after the last application of the drug. Meat and milk obtained before the specified period are disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.

Shelf life: 2 years. After the first withdrawal of the drug from the bottle: 28 days, provided that it is stored in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 5° to 25°C.

Storage conditions
